Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ellen Havens can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Havens, Ellen Miriam (Nellie). On Wednesday, February 7, 2018 Nellie Havens (nee Hoisington) of Simcoe, was Promoted To Glory from Norfolk General Hospital in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Charles Havens (2012). Beloved mother of Brenda (Doug) Long of Port Dover, Paula (Pat) Parker of London and the late Dorothy Parker (2010) and Chris Burke (1993). Loving grandmother of Steve (Kerri) Pender, Mark (Michele) Pender, Eric (Jen) Long, Greg Pender, Donavan (Tammy) Burke, Richard (Carrie Jo) Long, Andrea (Seth) Zelem, Victoria Parker (Mark), Allison (Chris) Parker. Great grandmother of 13 great grandchildren. Predeceased by sister Lillian Ryerse and Ada McMahon. Friends are invited to call at The Simcoe Salvation Army Community Church, 184 Colborne St. N., Simcoe on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Service for Nellie will be held at the Church on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Vittoria Baptist Church Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
