I have so many happy memories of Aunty Hetty. She loved coming up to our cottage with Mum. We would laugh for days while drinking gin and tonic and telling stories. Hetty wanted so much to catch a fish so her picture could go up on our Fishing Wall of Fame. Funnily on her last day here she caught a baby sunfish. She was so excited. I think the whole lake heard her. She still stands proudly on our Wall of Fame. She loved to share her recipes with me and I have them still. Bob and I send our most heartfelt condolences to you Lauren and Joanne and your families. We will never forget your Mum ❤️❤️

Lauren, Jo and family I am so sad for all of you. Auntie Hetty was such a big part of my young life and she was such a sweet and kind aunt. Great memories of our Christmases, holidays and parties together. Hetty was a great friend to my Mum and was often the voice of reason. I still have the raggedy Ann doll she made for me and cherish it. Sending love to you all and the wonderful memories you made together will live on forever.

Hetty was always pleasant and so kind and soft spoken but always had an encouraging word for all. I remember many good times shared with her family over our years as Lauren is my sister-in-law. She was very fortunate to live out her life in the comfort of her daughter Jo's home with family surrounding her with love and support in her latter years. I know how she was loved by all her family and grandchildren and great grandchildren five boys and a little girl soon to come.
Take care you are all in our prayers and thoughts
