Passed away peacefully with family at her side, after a short illness, at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton, on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Wife of the late Gordon Edwin Skellett (2022) in her 78th year. Sister of Doug (Gisele) Grinyer, Jacqueline (Doug Burns) Grinyer, Ron (Sharon) Grinyer. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Laura (nee Swarts) and Harold Grinyer. Edith was a lifetime member of the Cairn Terrier Club of Canada for over 45 years. The family would like to thank the medical team at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton and the palliative care team for their amazing care and compassion over these last days. There will be a private family graveside service held at Selkirk Union Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
