Peacefully, at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville, on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Esther (nee Welt) was the wife of the late Dr. William Metcalfe (2007) and the late Merle (Bud) Elliott (1975). Loving mother of Janet Schweyer and Brian and his wife Robin Elliott. Dear grandmother of Mark (Emma) Elliott, Michael (Tailona) Elliott and Emily Schweyer and great grandmother of Anthony, Xailyia, Georgia, John, Loni and Max. Predeceased by her granddaughter Lisa (1987) and her son-in-law Bryan Schweyer (2017). Esther was a life-long volunteer with many organizations, including the Jarvis Lions Club, Knox Presbyterian Church and WHGH Auxiliary among others. Due to COVID restrictions, a private family service will be held at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, Jarvis (519-587-4414). A private graveside service will follow at Knox Presbyterian Church Cemetery. If desired, donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
