Obituary for Eunice Parker (Parker)

Peacefully, at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, on Monday, September 21, 2020, 4 months shy of her 100th birthday. Eunice was the wife of the late Harry Parker (2010). Loving mother of Marilyn Husted. Grandmother of Tegan Husted, Heather Carlson, and Torin Husted. Sister of Gladys and Arthur Pitcher, George and Lorraine Parker and Frederick Parker. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Sunday, September 27 from 2-4 pm. Due to COVID restrictions on gathering size, those attending the visitation are asked to speak to a parking attendant and be prepared to wait in your vehicle until invited inside. Masks or face shields are mandatory at all times while inside the funeral home. A graveside funeral service for Eunice will be held at Oakwood Cemetery on Monday, September 28, 2020 at 11 am. Those attending the graveside service are asked to remain in your vehicles until the funeral vehicles arrive. Eunice with her husband Harry were long-time residents of Norfolk. Her love of music and piano playing was evident to all who heard her play. She was a pianist at The Salvation Army in Simcoe and for many years, entertained and led singing at the Simcoe Seniors' Centre. After she moved to Cedarwood Village, she would play the piano there in her own unique style, bringing a smile to the faces of those who heard her. Donations to the charity of your choice in memory of Eunice would be appreciated. Friends are invited to send condolences and sign the Book of Memories at www.cooperfuneralhome.ca
