The Lord called home our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister from Townsend, Ontario on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Gerry Prinzen (nee Veldhuis), beloved wife of Albert Prinzen for almost 65 years, in her 85th year. Loving mother of Diane Stronks, Aleida Molenaar, Al, Joanne Kempenaar, Henry and Will. Beloved Mother in Law of Henry Stronks, Harry Molenaar, Teresa, Gary Kempenaar, Elaine and Kim. Dear Oma of Anna and Matthew Harris (Ethan, Cassia, Zachary), Derek and Jennifer Stronks (Caleb, Rowan, Jacob, Rayah), Helena Stronks and Jenna MacLeod, Gerard and Jackie Stronks (Kendall), Angela and Mans Eisen (Arie, Leta, Theo, Cor), Marc and Tina Molenaar (William, Elliott, Margot, Miles), Alan Kempanaar, Christopher Kempenaar, Elizabeth DeLong (Daylen, Noahlen), Alicia Kempenaar, Stephen Prinzen and Victoria Traver, Jeremy Prinzen, Rebecca Prinzen, Seth Prinzen, Alex Prinzen and Laura Lotfi, Kaulin and Montana Prinzen and Aleida Prinzen and Thom Laur. Sister and sister-in-law of Klaas† and Iete† Veldhuis, Marie† and Fred† DeVries, Hanneke† and Klaas† Metz, John† and Gerry† Veldhuis, Geerjte† and Lo† DeVries, Diny and Len† Blyleven, Alice and Jerry† DeGraaf, John and Rita† Prinzen, Henry† and Florence† Prinzen, Bill and Trudy Prinzen, Thea and Henry Kaemingh, Trudy† and John Kloet, Wilma and Ralph† Karsten and Hein and Janna Prinzen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Due to COVID restrictions, attendance at visitation and the funeral service is limited to family members. The Funeral Service for Gerry will be held on 16th day, February at 1 pm. Interment will follow and a private family graveside will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Brantford. Both the funeral service at 1 pm and the graveside service at 3:00 pm will be livestreamed on the funeral home Facebook page and will also be available from the funeral home website for those wishing to join with and support the family in this way.
