It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jim at home. Loving husband, best friend, soulmate to his wife Kim (Bowen). Proud father of Angie Kotlar (Brian), Dawn Mainprize (Roy), Dana Shepley (Dean). Wonderful step-father to Jason De La Fosse (Lindsay), Lance De La Fosse (Farrah), Daniel Fleming (Brittany), Chad Fleming (Bailey). He will be missed by his children, step-children, 17 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren to whom he brought joy and laughter. Predeceased by parents Mary and Norm and step-brother Kevin. Loved by sisters Monica (Barry) and Lucy; step-sisters Barb(Kim), Pat (Dave), Mary (Pete), April (Nick), Mayanne, Margaret, Theresa, Dorothea and step-brother Michael (Jeanette) plus many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to W.H.G.H. and St. Joseph's Hospital. Friends and family to be received at Cooper Funeral home on Thursday August 18, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Service will be held at St. Mary's Church in Hagersville on Friday August 19, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the West Haldimand Hospital Healthcare Foundation or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
