The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Edward (Jack) Field can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Passed away at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Saturday, September 8th, 2018. Jack Field, beloved husband for 62 years of Evelyn (nee House). Loving father of Sharon (Paul), Brian (Lori) and Kevin (Lisa). Grandfather of Jason, Kyle, Katherine, Jennifer, Ashley, Johnathon and Rebecca and Andy. Fondly remembered by Roger. Brother of Marjorie Porter and brother-in-law of Marjorie Lindsay and Agnes House. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born in Nanticoke on the second concession, he grew up and then raised his own family on the same stretch of gravel. He farmed the land with his father until the late 60s. Jack was involved in many agriculture related activities and groups and received several awards for his excellent ploughmanship. Jack worked for municipal government for many years on the road crews until his retirement in 1998

Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Thursday, September 13 from 9 - 10:30 am. The funeral service for Jack will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on Thursday at 11 o'clock. A private family interment will take place at a later date. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
