Linklater, John Bryce.
Peacefully with family at his side, at the Norfolk General Hospital on Wednesday, August 7th, 2019. Bryce Linklater of Jarvis, beloved husband of the late Alma (nee Bailey), in his 99th year. Loving father of the late Joan (Drew) Mudge, Jane (Paul) Ruth, John (Linda), Betsy Newton and Barbara (David) Ross. Proud grandfather of Allison and Elizabeth; Derek, Adam and Megan; Christopher, Melissa and Sarah; Andrew and Wesley; Jessica and Cameron; and 17 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Harold, Ken and Gordon Linklater. Bryce was the last remaining charter member of the Jarvis Lions Club and a proud recipient of a Melvin Jones Fellowship. Together with his late wife Alma, Bryce operated Bailey and Linklater Limited in Jarvis for almost 50 years. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Sunday, August 11th, 2019 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Funeral Service for Bryce will be held at the Wesley United Church, 19 Church Street Jarvis, on Monday, August 12th, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment Wesley United Church Cemetery.
