The family of Luella (Lou) Ross is saddened to announce her passing on the morning of February 4th, 2022 at Norview Lodge in Simcoe with her son Arthur by her side. Lou died peacefully and unexpectedly. She is predeceased by her late husband Bill Ross and her late son Cpl. Darryl Crawford Ross. Mom is survived by her three children Arthur (Irene), Blair (Connie) and Barbara (Vinod). Also mourning her loss are her grandchildren Jacob (Danielle), Chelsea, Connor (Abby), Christopher, Theresa, Russel, Sebastien, and Gabriella and great grandson Merrick, as well as her brothers Gramp, Don and Cole (d.) Mom will be remembered for being a master cribbage and dart player,her fabulous meat pies and her love of fishing. Our lobster source will be missed. Mom we hope you will finally meet Johnny Cash in heaven! The family would like to thank the staff on Willow Walk at Norview Lodge for making Lou happy and comfortable over her four- and half-year stay. Cremation has taken place and Luella’s ashes will be scattered in the Bay of Fundy at Grand Manan NB at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to COOPER FUNERAL HOME, Jarvis (519-587-4414).
