ago.

Marguerite was a life-long member of The Salvation Army. In her younger years she sang in the
Songsters. As a Bandmaster’s wife she regularly entertained visiting guests, her gift of hospitality shining
bright. Marguerite also taught Sunday School, was the Missionary Sergeant, and was active in the Home
League.
As an exemplary secretary she worked at Cooper Construction, Mountain Cablevision, Big Brothers of
Canada, First Place and First-Pilgrim United Church.
Her dedication to her family, church and work was an inspiration to everyone whose life she touched.
In her later years, despite failing health, she remained keenly interested in the lives of her family.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff on A2 at Macassa Lodge for their
wonderful care of Marguerite during the almost seven years she lived there.
