Peacefully, at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 with family present, Mildred Addison (nee Bunn), beloved wife for 56 years of the late William (1998) in her 100th year. Beloved mother of Elizabeth (Jim) Dickson, Mary Emerson and Jack (Sandy) Addison. Loving grandmother of Trisha (Adam) Logan, Kristen Dickson, Nicole Emerson, Greg (Anita) Addison, Mark (Hazel) Addison, Chelsea Addison (Deceased) and great grandmother of Danayre (Justin) Davis, Cole Logan, Kalvin Logan, Sadey James, Rhys James, Kaysen Williams, Liliana Addison, Eva Addison, William Addison and Maeve Addison (Deceased) and great great grandmother of Everleigh Davis. Predeceased by her sister, Carmen Hebbel. Mildred was a farmer, long-time mail carrier with Canada Post (22 years), a 70 year member of the Catholic Women's League and was a charter member of the West Haldimand General Hospital Ladies' Auxilliary as well as being active with the Jarvis Lions Club. Mildred’s strength and determination along with her lifetime of hard work and her giving nature has made her an extraordinary role model and she was adored by her whole family. She was a very special lady. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. (Masks and physical distancing are required at all times when on funeral home property). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, Jarvis on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10:30 am. Interment St. Ann's Cemetery. (Due to restrictions on gathering size, the mass will be by invitation only. Those wishing to join with the family at the graveside service immediately following are welcome to do so. Please arrive at the cemetery between 11:15 and 11:30 am. Contact tracing information will be collected as required). Donations to West Haldimand General Hospital Auxiliary or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
