Veldstra, (Neeltje) Nellie – nee Vandenberg. November 19, 1927 to March 4, 2021. In His infinite wisdom and His perfect timing, the Lord took to Himself Nellie Veldstra, wife of the late Itske (2016) in her 94th year. Nellie was a resident in Gardenview Long Term Care, Parkview Meadows Christian Retirement Village in Townsend for the past 6 years. Dear mother of Grace and Sid Holtrop of Lethbridge, Alberta, Marg and Art Veldhuizen of Fonthill, Ralph and Gerrie Veldstra of Brantford, Irene and Tom Billiald of Ancaster and Nanda and Randy Haveman of Binbrook. Loving Oma of 20 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren. Nellie is survived by her sister-in-law Vicki Vandenberg, sister Afke Veenje, and brother Jan Vandenberg. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis, on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 6-8 pm. Following a family graveside service at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, the Memorial Service for Nellie will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 33 King Avenue, York, on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. (Those wishing to attend the visitation or funeral/memorial service must RSVP through the funeral home website.
