Fowler, Olive (Nee Waring)
Olive Fowler (nee Waring) passed peacefully at her home on Saturday August 13, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Christopher Fowler for nearly 70 years, in her 93rd year. Loving mother of Kelvin and her husband Alastair Lewin, Andrew and his wife Mariette, Simon, and Paul and his wife Audrey. She was the grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Olive was born in Liverpool, England in 1930 to George and Ada (nee Doyle-Quayle) Waring. Olive and Christopher married in Bootle, Liverpool in 1953 and immigrated to Canada in 1957. They initially lived in Quebec but moved to Ontario in the late 50's. Olive and Chris spent the next 30 years moving internationally for Chris's job. She made a home for their growing family in India, Holland, Germany, New Zealand, and England before returning home to Canada. Olive and Chris have called Cambridge, Owen Sound and Brantford home. Olive enjoyed her time as a real estate agent and then laterly as a china painting teacher. Interment of cremated remains will be in Glenmorris Cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to COOPER FUNERAL HOME, Jarvis (519-587-4414). If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
