Goddard, Robert Steel - C.P.O. RCN (ret.)

Promoted to Glory from his home in Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday, January 23, 2021, in his 96th year. Robert and his beloved wife Mary (nee Morris) would have celebrated their 78th anniversary on January 30, 2021. After retiring from the Royal Canadian Navy, where he served in WWII and Korea, he then worked at Chedoke Hospital where he retired in 1990. Loving father of Brenda (Frank) Jackson, Karen (Kevin) Lacey and Kevin (Joyce). Dear grandfather of Jason (Maryann), Michael (Dawn), Sarah, Rebecca (Keith), Laurinda (Mike), and Courtney. Loving great grandfather to several great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Alex and Len. Due to restrictions on gathering sizes, there will be no public funeral service. A private graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. This service will be available to view afterward at www.cooperfuneralhome.ca.
