Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ruby McBride can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Rebecca Jones
Condolence: I was so sad to see that Ruby had died, and yet I also smiled remembering her incredible smile - her ease with life - her 'doing', especially for Jarvis, for her kids and for her church. My sincere condolences Gail and Doug. When I think of Jarvis, of the Hagersville Secondary School Band, and of you - I think immediately of your mom. What a life she made. All the best, and many blessings,
Becky

Condolence: Doug, Dave, Dwayne and families: please accept our sincere condolences. Ruby was my mom's best friend for more years than I care to remember. When mom went into Leisure Living, Ruby was the first one there to take her by the hand to show her around...and was so sad when we had to place her at Parkview Meadows....mom is always asking why she hasn't seen Ruby walking down the hallway...we just tell her she is probably busy.....we haven't told her yet because she would be so upset.....I wished we had taken her back to Leisure Living to visit your mom just one more time....we all were very lucky to have Ruby in our lives....she is now enjoying her long awaited place in Paradise...…

Condolence From: Tracy & Greg Lumley
Condolence: Condolences to the family. After my grandmother Vera Cooke passed away, Ruby came to clean the house for grandpa Jack Cooke and kept an eye on him. Grandpa always used to tell me that Ruby insisted on cleaning the floors down on her hands and knees because that was the only way she thought it should be done. She was a great friend to Grandpa and I always enjoyed visiting with her when our paths crossed. She was a wonderful lady who will be missed.
