Ruth Margaret Grove (nee Snelling) passed on peacefully at St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke onThursday, April 21, 2022 in her 95th year. Cherished wife of 65 years to the late Marvin Grove. Loving mother of Karen (Michael) Rienau, Richard (Kim), the late Peter (Sylvia), Christopher, Catharine Southworth (Steven Beaurivage), and the late Victoria. Dear grandmother of Vanessa, Rebecca, Sarah, Kristi, Jenna, Emily, Theodore, Benjamin and Charlotte. Delighted great-grandmother of Lionel, Nico and Esme. Ruth is survived by her sister Connie Trathen and predeceased by brother Eugene Snelling. Our appreciation extends to the community within St. Peter's Residence at Chedoke who provided such loving care and support while in residence. Everyone expressed what a sweet gentle soul Ruth was. Ruth is survived by many, including Marvin's family, of all generations who have expressed what a lovely lady she was. Ruth was so very loved by all. You may remember Ruth and Marvin from Grove Picture Framing in Jarvis, and by their Renton home, garden and art tours. In keeping with Ruth's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of life to commemorate Ruth's life, on June 12, 2022 (2pm - 5pm) at Ancaster Agriculture & Event Centre (Fairgrounds).
