DeBoer, Tjitte

Promoted to Glory on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from Gardenview Long Term Care, Townsend, in his 93rd year. Predeceased by his wife Hammie DeBoer (nee Lenos) (1983). Survived by his dear companion, Ada Stavinga. Loved father of Julie and John Vanderkooy, Rosaline and Cor Boekee, Arnold and Joanne DeBoer and Mike and Elaine DeBoer. Proud Pake and Great Pake to Paul and Theodora, Leslea (Matthew, Leanna), Heather and Ray (Stephanie, Nathan), Jonathan and Amy (Joel, Hilary, Quinn, Logan), Steven and Laura (Harlow, Harry), Michael and Brittany (Tyler, Cameron, Kristen and Tim (Zachery, Leah, Chloe), Trevor and Rachel (Caitlyn, Alyssa, Emily, Austin), Tim and Stephanie (Karlee, Aric), Tracy and Bob (Darren, Casey), Dustin and Avilee. Dad loved to laugh and was truly proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, Jarvis (519-587-4414) on Monday, February 15, 2021. The funeral service will be live-streamed on the funeral home Facebook page and will be available through Tjitte's Book of Memories website as well. The graveside service at The Gore Cemetery, Clanbrassil will also be livestreamed in the same manner, after a short interval while the family processes to the cemetery. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A special "thank you" to the staff at Gardenview for your loving care over the past 4 years. Thanks also to Cooper Funeral Home for their compassionate help during this difficult time. Friends are invited to send condolences and sign the Book of Memories at www.cooperfuneralhome.ca

I will always remember visits to dairy barn and treating dairy cattle with Tjitte. He was always up-beat and lots of fun
