Phibbs, William Herman. Peacefully, at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville, on Sunday, March 3, 2019. Bill Phibbs of Townsend, in his 89th year. Beloved husband for 56 years of Helen (nee Richardson) Phibbs. Beloved father of Victoria Bishop of Hagersville, Glenda and Dave Dunnett of Jarvis, Dawn and Dave Gillespie and Kent Phibbs all of Cranbrook, B.C. Brother and brother-in-law of Eileen Doughty (late Roy) of Jarvis, Tom and Marlene of Hagersville, Blanche Phibbs (late Rex) of Hagersville and the late Keith (Muriel), Jack (Helen), Olive Kindree (Fay), Rex, Don (Marjorie and Betty) and Ruth Craddock (Ernest). Bill is survived by many nieces and nephews. Bill was a P.N.G of Jarvis Lodge 191, I.O.O.F and P.M. of King Solomon Lodge #329 A.F. & A.M. Jarvis. On Saturday March 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., a service to Celebrate the life of Bill will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Jarvis followed by interment at St. Paul's Anglican Church Cemetery. Donations to St. Paul's Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
