It is with great sadness that we announce that Mrs. Winifred Taylor, age 92, passed away Thursday evening, August 27, 2020, at Fox Ridge Care Community in Brantford. She was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Taylor.
Winifred was born May 10, 1928. She held a number of interesting jobs throughout her life, and was a homemaker, raising four children. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, playing card games, listening to country-western music, and she loved the holidays. She was a strong woman, but also had a jovial, funny side that was infectious to everyone around her.
Winifred is survived by her four children: Larry, Pauline, Debbie (Dave), and Charles; her three grandchildren: Steve, Michelle, and James; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and other loved ones—all who will miss her immensely.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis. Interment Knox Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Jarvis. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Because of capacity restrictions, those wishing to attend either the visitation or the funeral service must RSVP through the funeral home website. Masks are required when in the funeral home.
