Today our family laid to rest aunt Ella Marie and I wish to express my deepest Condolences. I believe she is now in the loving arms of the many who have gone before her. I know she has found peace, and is happier to be with all of them in heaven, than we could ever imagine. However my heart is filled with such sadness; for those left behind. I am trying to make peace with the fact that we all lost another family member. She was such a wonderful, and supportive, sister to all of her 15 siblings. She was even more than that to my dad. After their mother passed, my dad turned to her for love and guidance. My dad was only a young man, when he had to mourn her loss, and aunt Ella Marie helped him through some of best, and worst times of his life. He could always count on her. She stepped up, and became more than just a sister to him. She was always a loving and devoted wife. She worked hard as she could in and out of the home and, raising six children, whom she loved with all of her heart. She encouraged them in every endeavor, and was beyond proud of them. When she would speak of them, you could see her face light up with happiness, and love. Her pride extended to her many beautiful grand children, and great grand children. She treated friends as family, and never turned any away from her door. As I sit here, I can't stop thinking to myself that we have such a huge family, with hundreds of us all descended from these siblings, and yet, after today, it feels like it just got lot smaller. :'( My prayers are with all of whom are mourning her loss, and I wish to take a moment to say, I love all of you. Time is short, and I don't say it enough. I thank you all for being a part of my life
